Blessed is Bhai Moti Ram Mehra Ji, who risked his life to serve them warm milk during their imprisonment. Blessed is Diwan Todar Mal Ji, who sold all his wealth to purchase land for their cremation, ensuring they received proper honors.
Their sacrifice reminds us of the power of unwavering faith. Despite being offered wealth and comfort in exchange for abandoning their beliefs, these young souls chose martyrdom over betrayal of their principles. Today, when we bow our heads at Fatehgarh Sahib, we must reflect on the immense courage they displayed at such tender ages.
In contrast, we live in times of comfort yet often fail to uphold our Sikh identity with pride. The Sahibzadas’ legacy calls upon us to reconnect with our roots and honor their sacrifice by living as true Sikhs.
