GS NAGI ART is the studio of Gurjinder Singh Nagi, a digital artist working from Fatehabad in Haryana. He draws Sikh history by hand: the Gurus, the Sahibzade, the Khalsa, and the Shaheeds of 1984.
Every piece in this shop began as an original illustration on his desk. Nothing is generated, nothing is traced, and nothing is licensed from a stock library.

Why these subjects
Devotional work. Portraits of the Gurus, the Sahibzade and the birth of the Khalsa. These are drawn slowly, because a devotional piece that gets the fabric or the weapon wrong is worse than no piece at all. Reference comes before the first line.
The 1984 collection. Portraits of the Shaheeds and the events of June and November 1984. The generation that remembers is getting older. This collection exists so the generation that follows has something to look at and ask about.

Test-printed and colour-matched until the print matches the original rather than an approximation of it.

Printed on 260gsm cotton rag, fitted into a 1.5-inch black wooden frame and packed in a corner-protected crate.
