This artwork is a heartfelt tribute to the great martyrs Shaheed Sant Jarnail Singh Ji Khalsa Bhindranwale, Shaheed Bhai Amrik Singh Ji, and Shaheed General Shabeg Singh Ji. It commemorates their supreme sacrifices during the tragic events of Operation Blue Star in June 1984, when the sanctity of Sri Guru Ram Das Ji’s house (the Golden Temple) was violated. Even after 38 years, the wounds inflicted by this attack remain fresh in the hearts of Sikhs worldwide.
Sant Jarnail Singh Ji Khalsa Bhindranwale was a fearless leader who championed human rights, Sikh rights, and the autonomy of Punjab. He spoke boldly about justice and equality without fear, advocating for the Anandpur Sahib Resolution. Despite his efforts to awaken the conscience of Sikhs and fight for their rights, the government portrayed him as a terrorist to the masses. For Sikhs, however, he remains a true warrior, saint, and general—a symbol of resistance against oppression. His legacy lives on in our hearts, and even today, those who labeled him a terrorist fear his enduring image.
This artwork honors not only Sant Jarnail Singh Ji but also Bhai Amrik Singh Ji and General Shabeg Singh Ji. Together, they stood as defenders of faith and justice during one of Sikhism’s darkest chapters. Their martyrdom serves as a reminder of the sacrifices made to protect Sikh values and identity.
